What to Expect

What to Expect

Whether it's your first or 100th time walking through the doors of The Walk, you will find people who are happy, loving and excited to see you.  The Walk is a place where every person can belong, and where friends feel like family. So before you visit, we put together answers to some commonly asked questions in hopes that you get to know us better.

What should I wear?

We are a casual church. So wear whatever you feel comfortable in.  Inside the building the temperature is middle and very comfortable. We do like to take advantage of our beautiful San Diego weather so you can always keep that in mind as well.

Where do my kids go?

We love families! We have an excellent children’s leader who puts together lessons for children ages K-5. When you and your family come to visit there will be signs directing you to the room the children use during service. The curriculum is set so each child has fun while learning the truth about who God is. Once service is over, a parent/guardian can pick them up from the same room they were brought to at the beginning.

*please inform the teacher of any allergies or medical conditions.

What time should I get there and when should I expect to be done?

Our service starts at 9:00am and ends by 10:15am. Coffee is available in the courtyard starting at 8:45am and there are light refreshments after. We invite you to visit and get to know someone. And no matter the time you arrive, there will be someone there ready to greet you.

 What if I don’t have a Bible?

Not a problem! We will have a Bible available for you to use if you don’t have one and the words to the Scriptures and songs will be on the screen so you can follow along that way as well. The Bible App is also a great free resource.
